Their role is strictly to evaluate, test, and verify. Ownership of controls and compliance decisions remains with the customer – where it belongs. This separation is critical. It ensures objectivity, eliminates conflicts of interest, and reinforces trust in the audit outcome.

At Thoropass, duties are clearly separated. Customers own implementation and operation of controls, and our auditors independently assess them. This clarity strengthens independence.
