Chris Beiro

Chris is a seasoned cybersecurity executive with over 15 years’ experience in compliance and audit. He has helped hundreds of organizations – from high-growth startups to Fortune 500 enterprises - strengthen their cybersecurity programs, meet rigorous compliance standards, and mitigate risk. Prior to joining Thoropass, he spent more than 13 years in cybersecurity and audit leadership roles at KPMG and Coalfire.

Chris is well versed in executing and leading complex cybersecurity compliance programs requiring assessments of multiple business units, compliance frameworks, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).  His expertise spans SOC 1, SOC 2, FedRAMP, PCI, HITRUST, ISO, and other global security frameworks, with a focus on serving leading technology companies.

Chris holds a degree in Computer Information Systems from James Madison University, as well as several professional certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE), Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK), and Certificate of Competence in Zero Trust (CCZT)
