Emmanuel Amos-Abanyie

As Head of Quality Assurance for InfoSec Solutions, Emmanuel leads the firm's quality assurance program, driving consistency, technical excellence, and standardization across every audit engagement. He works closely with audit teams to strengthen audit methodologies, enhance reporting quality, and promote continuous improvement, helping clients receive accurate, rigorous, and reliable audit deliverables.

Emmanuel brings more than 15 years of experience in IT auditing across consulting, public accounting, and financial services. During 7+ years at SamLin Consulting, he supported audit engagements performed on behalf of KPMG and CliftonLarsonAllen, serving organizations ranging from startups and growth-stage companies to Fortune 500 enterprises and federal agencies. He later held audit roles at Coalfire and BNY Mellon.

Since joining Thoropass in January 2023 as a Senior Manager in InfoSec Assurance, Emmanuel has led audit engagements across multiple assurance and compliance frameworks while helping clients navigate increasingly complex regulatory requirements. In his current role, he oversees quality assurance initiatives that strengthen technical rigor, promote consistency, and drive continuous improvement throughout the audit practice. 

Emmanuel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Sociology from Davidson College and a Master of Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), and holds the Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK).
