Leith Khanafseh

Leith founded and leads Thoropass's Assurance practice, bringing 15 years of audit experience to the role. At Thoropass, he oversees the audit and assessment offerings, shapes product direction, and drives innovation that modernizes traditionally outdated audit practices.

Before Thoropass, Leith held audit roles at EY, KPMG, and Coalfire, where he led information security audits for some of the world's largest cloud service providers and SaaS platforms. Over his career, he has performed and delivered more than 3,000 compliance audits and certifications.

Leith holds a CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CCSK (Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge), CCSFP (Certified HITRUST Common Security Framework Practitioner), and CHQP (Certified HITRUST Quality Professional). 

Leith holds a degree in Accounting and Information Systems from Virginia Tech.
