Tom Miller, CPA, CISA

Tom is an information security and technology audit leader with more than a decade of experience delivering assurance engagements for organizations ranging from large public corporations to high-growth startups. He owns Thoropass' largest and most strategic client portfolio, leading complex multi-framework audits and serving as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders on control design, security requirements, and remediation strategy.

Beyond engagement delivery, Tom leads and mentors a team of auditors and partners cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to advance Thoropass' audit methodology — designing scalable processes, templates, and technology-enabled delivery frameworks that improve quality and consistency across the practice.

Tom built his foundation in accounting and information systems auditing at KPMG and as an IT audit manager at a top 25 U.S. firm. 

He holds dual bachelor's degrees from Rutgers University — one in Accounting and one in Business Analytics & Information Technology — and is a licensed CPA and Certified Information Systems Auditor.
